Hey my name is Kristin and I'm a sophomore here at TCU. Hmmm what would you like to know about me? Well I love to write, and I have a nice stack of spiral notebooks, most of which I purchased for about a quarter at Wal-Mart, that hold just about any thought or musing I have ever had. I love football and I am a huge Denver Bronco fan. Unfortunately this season is going to be pretty dismal, but life goes on. I am from Colorado, and I absolutely love it there. I love snow and mountains and high altitude. My family now lives in Las Vegas, however, so I spent my summer there. Las Vegas is definitely NOT my favorite place. Oh- one more random thing about me: I don't wear matching socks. I don't really know why. One day when I was in about seventh grade I just decided that it was boring to wear two socks that are exactly the same, so I decided to wear two different ones. It saves me the trouble of matching my socks after I do laundry.

    Kristin, I share with you a love of Colorado, a place my family (well, my husband and I) are plotting to make our permanent home. We spend as many holidays there as possible: this summer, we hiked near Durango and checked out Mesa Verde, last year, we skiied my favorite place, Snowmass, plus Copper and Breckenridge. Are you a skiier or snowboarder? Where do you like to spend your time on the mountain?

    I don't ski or snowboard. I know that is kind of sad since I lived there, but I just never really got into it. My favorite place in the mountains is the Silverthorne and Lake Dillon area. I also love Estes Park and Breckenridge. I am definetly going to do whatever I can to get back there after I graduate, but for now Texas is a nice new adventure.
